Community Guidelines

Version 1.0 Effective Date: July 17, 2026 Last Updated: July 17, 2026

RiskIT is meant to be fun, social, and safe. These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from everyone who plays. They apply to all Stakes (whether AI-generated or created by you), profile pictures, display names, usernames, and every interaction on the Service. These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service, and breaking them can lead to removal of content, loss of features, or termination of your Account.

1. The Spirit of RiskIT

RiskIT is a pass-the-phone party game about dares and good-natured risks among friends who are 17 or older. The best moments come from creativity and laughter — not from putting anyone in danger or making anyone feel unsafe. Play in a way you would be comfortable explaining to a friend afterward.

2. Play It Safe

A Stake is only a suggestion. You are always free to skip, pass, or refuse any Stake for any reason. Never attempt a dare that could hurt you or someone else, damage property, or break the law. If a Stake ever feels unsafe, skip it. See our AI Challenge Disclaimer for more.

3. Prohibited Content & Behavior

Do not create, submit, encourage, or share any Stake, profile picture, name, or other content that:

4. Rules for Creating Stakes

When you create a custom Stake, you are responsible for it. Keep Stakes light, safe, and appropriate for a mixed group of adults. A good Stake is funny, creative, and something everyone present could reasonably laugh about. A Stake that pressures someone to do something unsafe, humiliating, illegal, or non-consensual is not allowed and may be removed. Remember that AI-generated Stakes are automated suggestions and are subject to the same safety expectations — if one is inappropriate, skip it and report it.

5. Profiles & Usernames

Your profile picture, display name, and username must not contain nudity, hate symbols, harassment, impersonation, or anything that violates Section 3. Choose a profile picture you have the right to use. We may remove or reset profile content that breaks these rules.

6. Reporting & Blocking

If you see content or behavior that breaks these Guidelines, please use the in-app tools:

We review reports and take action on objectionable content and abusive users. Reporting in good faith helps keep RiskIT safe for everyone; do not misuse reporting to harass others.

7. How We Enforce These Rules

Depending on the severity and history of a violation, we may take any of the following actions, in our discretion: remove content; issue a warning; limit or disable features; temporarily suspend an Account; or permanently terminate an Account. Serious violations — especially anything endangering safety or involving minors — may result in immediate termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement. These actions are consistent with our Terms of Service.

8. Questions & Appeals

If you believe we acted in error, or you have questions about these Guidelines, contact us at support@risk-it-app.com. We will review appeals in good faith, though we cannot guarantee a particular outcome.
